20 pounds down and 20 to go! I know that sounds like a lot but that includes the baby! At my follow up OB appointment I was thrilled to see that my weight had dropped from my all time high at full term pregnancy of 165 to 145.. the best part about that was not having to move the block over from the 100 pound mark to the 150 pound mark! Now that it’s been about 41/2 weeks since Lillian was born, the easy weight has come off and it’s going to take some extra work to get the next 20 off. For me to commit to a full time work out plan is a big deal.. 1. I make excuses 2. I don’t make the time for myself and 3. I’m not motivated to go sweat for an hour a day. In order for me to be happy and get back to my old self again it’s very important that I CHANGE and put myself on my own to-do list again. I mean my Dad co-owns this gym for crying out loud. My Dad has even offered to let me train with him at Next Level when I go back to work (nice huh?). Oh and did I mention my husband is certified in personal training. This should be easy for me right? So I’m putting this out here in the open. I need to work out, eat healthy, continue to breastfeed and work out some more. If you have an tips/motivation for me please let me know.

The only tip I have is to find some kind of exercise that you enjoy doing. If you enjoy doing it then you will be more likely to stick with it instead of dreading doing it everyday.
