Hello to all my blogger friends! I would like to announce that I got a domain name for my blog. I'm so excited and shocked by how easy it was! My new site name is now..... thenavywife.com.

If you're interested in switching your blogspot blog name to a custom domain name, follow these simple steps:
1) Go to your main blogger Dashboard
2) Click on Settings
3) Click on Publishing
4) Click on Custom Domain
5) Follow the simple forms, pay a small $10.00 fee and your on your way to a new customized domain name!
The cool thing, is that all of you (my followers) will simply be redirected from www.theswallownest.blogspot.com to www.thenavywife.com so you don't have to worry about updating my site name in your reading lists and/or sidebar links. Unless of course, it just makes you feel better. :)
Out with the old and in with the new!

Ha!! That is so funny that you did that. I was stuffing my Christmas cards yesterday and thought about switching mine to a .com domain address. (I put my blog address on my Christmas card, so that's what made me think of it.)
I have designed my wedding website and had to get a domain, but it's been a while, so I have forgotten how. Thanks for the easy directions!!
Wow! That's pretty cool! Is there a monthly fee to do that?
